Bible OnAir Privacy Policy

Effective: 4 October 2026

ISO Service ("we") values the privacy of people using Bible OnAir ("the Service") and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and related laws.

This policy explains what personal information the Service collects, why, and how it is handled.

1. Using the Service without signing in

If you do not sign in, the Service collects no personal information. All settings and favorites stay on your PC.

When the app checks for a new version it contacts the update file host (GitHub), which, as with any internet connection, may receive your IP address.

2. Personal information we collect

The following is collected only when you sign in with a Google account.

  • Account — Google account identifier, email address, name (the display name on the Google account), time zone
  • Device — a device identifier (derived from PC hardware information; the original information cannot be recovered from it), device name (PC name), operating system and app version, registration and last-use times
  • Sync data (when sync is on) — favorites, display settings (type size, display mode, verse references, theme), broadcast caption style, translation choice, Labs settings
  • Generated automatically — times the Service was used, and a transformed value of your IP address used to limit excessive requests (the original address is not stored)

3. Why we use it

  • Identifying you and keeping you signed in
  • Checking your access to translations (such as 개역개정) and delivering them
  • Syncing settings and favorites between your PCs
  • Device management, preventing misuse, handling outages and answering enquiries

4. How long we keep it

Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and is destroyed without delay when you ask us to delete it. Records of removed devices are kept while the account exists, to prevent misuse, and are destroyed with the account.

Records of administrative actions on an account (for example, adding a beta tester) are kept as evidence of how the Service is operated. Information that the law requires us to keep is kept for the period the law sets.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law.

6. Processors and transfers abroad

We use the providers below to run the Service, and personal information is transferred abroad in the process. Transfers happen over encrypted network connections while you use the Service, and are kept for the periods in section 4.

  • Google LLC (USA) — Google sign-in. Items: Google account identifier, email, name
  • Railway Corp. (USA, overseas data centres) — running the account server and database. Items: everything in section 2
  • GitHub, Inc. (USA) — distributing installer and update files. Items: IP address when connecting

If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can use the Service without signing in. Features that need an account, such as sync and 개역개정, will then be unavailable.

7. How information is destroyed

Information past its retention period, or that you ask us to delete, is erased from the database so that it cannot be recovered. Information stored on your PC is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

8. Your rights

You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it. Write to the email address in section 12 and we will act without delay and let you know the result.

In the app you can also sign out, remove a device, and turn individual sync items off yourself.

9. How we protect your information

  • Encryption of all connections (HTTPS)
  • Sign-in credentials stored encrypted using the operating system's secure storage
  • Server access limited to the fewest operators possible, with administrative actions logged

10. Children under 14

The Service is a tool for running church services. It is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Cookies

The Service (the app) does not use cookies.
